About Us

IEEE SB LBSITW is one of the most active Student Branches of IEEE Kerala Section. We as a team encourage divergent thinking in students by providing various opportunities.
IEEE SB LBSITW was established on 4th of August, 2012.
IEEE has several societies that offer various benefits. There are currently 3 societies (CS, RAS & SSCS) and 1 affinity group (WIE) active in our SB.
We conduct several events from intra-collegiate to National levels both independently and in coordination with several active bodies of IEEE.

WIE - Women in Engineering

IEEE WIE is one of the world’s leaders in changing the face of engineering. Computer Society (CS)

The IEEE Computer Society (IEEE CS) is the premier source for information, inspiration, and collaboration in computer science and engineering. Connecting members worldwide, the IEEE Computer Society empowers the people who advance technology by delivering tools for individuals at all stages of their professional careers. IEEE CS's trusted resources include SWEBOK, continuous learning opportunities, a robust digital library, international conferences, peer-reviewed publications, and globally recognized standards.

Robotics & Automation Society (RAS)

The IEEE Robotics and Automation Society's objectives are scientific, literary and educational in character. The Society strives for the advancement of the theory and practice of robotics and automation engineering and science and of the allied arts and sciences, and for the maintenance of high professional standards among its members, all in consonance with the Constitution and Bylaws of the IEEE and with special attention to such aims within the Field of Interest of the Society.

Solid-State Circuits Society (SSCS)

SSCS focuses on integrated-circuit career opportunities and education, offering Society members: Journal of Solid-State Circuits, Solid-State Circuits Magazine,International conferences ,Webinars on Cutting Edge Topics ,Online tutorials ,Local networking at More than 100 Chapters worldwide.With over 10,000 members around the world, the IEEE Solid-State Circuits Society focuses on fabricated integrated circuit designs -- in contrast to simulated circuits and analyzed models-- for all applications using relevant materials and interconnections.
